About the Layton Community Action Council (LCAC)

"Helping make your way of life, come to life"


The Layton Community Action Council (L.C.A.C.) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit, volunteer organization created in response to Utah's Promise.

Utah's Promise was created to recruit volunteers and other resources necessary to provide Utah's youth with essential skills to become healthy, productive adults. Utah's Promise is a collaborative effort between the Utah Commission on Volunteers, the Governor's Initiative on Families Today, and the Utah Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice.

The L.C.A.C. sponsors a broad range of volunteer, community efforts to monitor and prevent crime in our neighborhoods and city creating a safer environment for our children.

The L.C.A.C. consists of volunteers from the community representing Layton citizens, the Layton City Council, the Layton City Police Department and local churches, businesses and schools.
